Across TCGA patient cohorts, MMUT mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 26 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMUT-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, JNK_pT183_Y185, and mTOR_pS2448. Each is linked with MMUT in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMUT-to-partner and partner-to-MMUT results are reported.
