Across TCGA cell cohorts, MMP9 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 195 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMP9-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRSS58, GPR101, and SERPINA10. Each is linked with MMP9 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMP9-to-partner and partner-to-MMP9 results are reported.
