Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMP11 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMP11 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MMP11 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMP11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where MMP11 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
