Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMP10 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMP10 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MMP10 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMP10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MMP10 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
