Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMGT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMGT1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MMGT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMGT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and LIHC are the cancer types where MMGT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
