Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMEL1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MMEL1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MMEL1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMEL1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and LUSC show a favorable association.

ACC, READ, and KIRC are the cancer types where MMEL1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
