Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MME-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MME-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MME-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MME-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LIHC show a favorable association.

KICH, SKCM, and HNSC are the cancer types where MME-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
