Across TCGA patient cohorts, MMD mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,832 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMD-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-572P, RAB28P1, and TUBBP11. Each is linked with MMD in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMD-to-partner and partner-to-MMD results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RNU6-572P grouped by MMD-low versus MMD-high in COAD.
