Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMACHC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMACHC data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MMACHC Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMACHC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MMACHC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
