Across TCGA patient cohorts, MLXIPL protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 272 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLXIPL-associated genes across cancer lineages are PCK2, PGK1, and DYRK4. Each is linked with MLXIPL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLXIPL-to-partner and partner-to-MLXIPL results are reported.
