Across TCGA cell cohorts, MLKL mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 159 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLKL-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZIC5, DIRAS2, and TACR3. Each is linked with MLKL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLKL-to-partner and partner-to-MLKL results are reported.
