Across TCGA patient cohorts, MISP3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,021 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MISP3-associated genes across cancer lineages are SELENBP1, VSIG2, and TMPRSS2. Each is linked with MISP3 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MISP3-to-partner and partner-to-MISP3 results are reported.
