Across TCGA patient cohorts, MISP mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 26 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MISP-associated genes across cancer lineages are FOXO3a_pS318_S321, Caspase-7-cleavedD198, and Rad50. Each is linked with MISP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MISP-to-partner and partner-to-MISP results are reported.
