Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIS18A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIS18A data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MIS18A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIS18A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, SARC, and PRAD are the cancer types where MIS18A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
