Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIRLET7C RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIRLET7C data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MIRLET7C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIRLET7C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and ACC show a favorable association.
COAD, KIRP, and ACC are the cancer types where MIRLET7C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
