Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR548V RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR548V data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT), where higher MIR548V RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR548V expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

TGCT, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MIR548V RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
