MIR548O

associated omics data
Gene

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored MIR548O profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. MIR548O expression is associated with patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in MESO. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, MIR548O is differentially expressed in 4, with the highest sampling consensus in KIRC. Additionally, MIR548O RNA expression shows 7,780 significant protein co-abundance associations, with the highest sampling consensus in HNSC. Together, these results highlight MESO, KIRC, and HNSC as cancer lineages where MIR548O shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes MIR548O survival associations across molecular data types. MIR548O RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (17). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible MIR548O RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High MIR548O expression shows unfavorable associations in MESO, UVM, COAD and ACC, but favorable associations in LAML and SARC. The MESO Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p = .003). Together, the overview and detailed table identify MESO as the clearest survival context for MIR548O RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for MIR548O. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. MIR548O shows lower tumor expression in READ and COAD and higher tumor expression in KIRC and HNSC. The KIRC box plot shows higher MIR548O RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +0.132, t-test p = .005).

Cross-omics associations

This table shows molecular features associated with MIR548O in patient tissues and cancer cell lines. In patient samples, MIR548O shows the broadest associations at the RNA and protein expression levels, with HNSC recurring as the lineage with the largest associated feature set.
