Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR544B RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR544B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MIR544B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR544B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LUSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LUAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where MIR544B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
