Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR520C RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR520C data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher MIR520C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR520C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, PAAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where MIR520C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
