Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR520C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR520C data layer compared with 8 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MIR520C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR520C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD and SKCM are the cancer types where MIR520C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
