Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIR509-1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,085 significant associations in total. KIRC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MIR509-1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Fatty acid beta-oxidation using acyl-CoA oxidase, Facultative heterochromatin formation, and Quaternary ammonium group transport. Each is linked with MIR509-1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIR509-1-to-partner and partner-to-MIR509-1 results are reported.
