Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR509-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR509-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MIR509-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR509-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and KIRP show a favorable association.

UCEC, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MIR509-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
