MIR4505

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4505 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR4505’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where MIR4505 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR4505 is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRP, KIRC, and LUAD are the cancer types where MIR4505 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
