Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4500HG RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4500HG data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MIR4500HG RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4500HG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and LGG show a favorable association.

KIRP, KICH, and LGG are the cancer types where MIR4500HG RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
