The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher MIR4499 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4499 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD show a favorable association.
