Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4435-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4435-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MIR4435-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4435-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

BLCA, PAAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where MIR4435-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
