Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4284 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR4284 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MIR4284 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR4284 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and CHOL show a favorable association.
LUSC, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where MIR4284 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
