Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR378B RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR378B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MIR378B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR378B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC show a favorable association.
COAD, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where MIR378B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
