Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR374A RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR374A data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher MIR374A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR374A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and BLCA show a favorable association.
THCA, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MIR374A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
