Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR361 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR361 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher MIR361 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR361 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LAML show a favorable association.
MESO, HNSC, and DLBC are the cancer types where MIR361 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
