Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR29B2CHG RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR29B2CHG data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MIR29B2CHG RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR29B2CHG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, SKCM, and ACC are the cancer types where MIR29B2CHG RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
