Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR23C RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR23C data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MIR23C RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR23C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRP, and HNSC are the cancer types where MIR23C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
