Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR2278 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR2278 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MIR2278 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR2278 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BRCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, TGCT, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR2278 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
