Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR205HG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIR205HG data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MIR205HG Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR205HG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where MIR205HG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
