Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR181B1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR181B1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher MIR181B1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR181B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and ESCA show a favorable association.

READ, LAML, and ACC are the cancer types where MIR181B1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
