Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR137HG RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR137HG data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MIR137HG RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR137HG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and CHOL show a favorable association.

KIRP, LIHC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MIR137HG RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
