Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR133B RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIR133B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MIR133B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIR133B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS show a favorable association.
BLCA, BRCA, and MESO are the cancer types where MIR133B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
