Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIOX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MIOX data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MIOX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIOX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MIOX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
