Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MICOS10-NBL1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MICOS10-NBL1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MICOS10-NBL1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MICOS10-NBL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LUAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, STAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where MICOS10-NBL1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
