Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIA-RAB4B RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MIA-RAB4B data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MIA-RAB4B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MIA-RAB4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, LIHC, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIA-RAB4B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
