Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MHENCR RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MHENCR data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MHENCR RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MHENCR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and READ show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and PAAD are the cancer types where MHENCR RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
