Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MGRN1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MGRN1 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MGRN1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MGRN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and SARC show a favorable association.

LUSC, UVM, and SARC are the cancer types where MGRN1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
