Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MGAM2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MGAM2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MGAM2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MGAM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MGAM2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
