Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFSD14C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MFSD14C data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MFSD14C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFSD14C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where MFSD14C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
