Across TCGA patient cohorts, MFF protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,626 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MFF-associated genes across cancer lineages are SIVA1, AJUBA, and PPP1R7. Each is linked with MFF in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MFF-to-partner and partner-to-MFF results are reported.
