Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MFAP4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MFAP4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MFAP4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MFAP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and SKCM are the cancer types where MFAP4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
