Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL2A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,924 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are DHX40, KPNB1, and MRPS7. Each is linked with METTL2A in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL2A-to-partner and partner-to-METTL2A results are reported.
