METTL2A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL2A mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 31 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caspase-8, EGFR_pY1068, and Heregulin. Each is linked with METTL2A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL2A-to-partner and partner-to-METTL2A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Caspase-8 grouped by METTL2A-low versus METTL2A-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (METTL2A→partner) and Y-score (partner→METTL2A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
