Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL22 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,220 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL22-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR10H1, IGHD6-25, and TXNP1. Each is linked with METTL22 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL22-to-partner and partner-to-METTL22 results are reported.
