Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL21A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible METTL21A-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZAR1, RNU6-4P, and RNU6-1242P. Each is linked with METTL21A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL21A-to-partner and partner-to-METTL21A results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, ZAR1 grouped by METTL21A-low versus METTL21A-high in UCEC.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (METTL21A→partner) and Y-score (partner→METTL21A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
